a 2505 homecoming.

jenny came in town last weekend. finally! and she just happened to plan on coming up during tech's homecoming so the timing couldn't have been better. we got up early saturday and first went to target to pick up a few things. we were walking down one of the aisles and a woman said "ya'll look so good! and that probably won't be the first time you hear that today". that pretty much made our day. :)))))

then we headed over to ruston and spent most of the day tailgating and then we moved our party to dawg house for fried pickles.

i love my ladies of 2505. always a fun time!

2505 reunion

i'm in love with my friends. i wish jenny lived closer. but it's nice to be able to get out of town for awhile. lauren and i roadtripped down to see her friday. after 5.5 hours in the car, a soy sauce incident, and stressful baton rouge traffic, we finally made it to lacombe. passed out. woke up. and went back to b.r. for tech/lsu tailgaiting and football.

then sunday, we went for a little shopping trip in nola after we crashed a fancy sushi bar in sweat pants. hey...that's how 2505 rolls. then headed to u.o. yay urban! (i had to make up for the failed trip to u.o. last weekend with brent...and trust me...i definitely made up for it).

i had to give poor lauren a break and do the city driving.

we made it back to shreveport right at 10. not too bad considering the hour we spent in baton rouge trying to find a place to pee.....don't ask. baton rouge sucks sometimes.

i miss my ladies already. but i'm glad that i have a break from weekend trips for awhile. 3 times to new orleans and baton rouge in one month is ALOT of driving. i'm exhausted.

thanks to miss moreau for a fun weekend and miss sowell for being my roadtrip buddy. i love you ladies.
